Winter is comming; Some book for the snow season.
« on: October 28, 2008, 01:33:24 PM »
Hey all,  just wanted to give you the titles of some books to look up during the winter months.  Great reads for anyone that owns a motorcycle.

Keith Code -  A Twist of the Wrist Volume II  (You can grab Volume I as well, but most of it is covered in Volume II)
Lee Parks - Total Control: High-Performance Street Riding Techniques
Andy Ibbott - Performance Riding Techniques
Nick Ienatsch - Sport Riding Techniques

These are the ones that I am reading myself.  I know there are plenty more, so if anyone wants to add a few in for me that would be awesome.

Yes its true. The Biking season is comming to an end and the snow is moving in. That means its time for winterizing of your bike! There is link in the forums that has a great write up on what you should do, also look for out DIY of winterizing comming soon. (Soon as I do it )

Here you can see my bikes, getting their first taste of the snow. All covered and such, but now I guess I will have the trailer them to storage instead of drive unless the snow clears off.

Heres the direct link to the Storage and Winterize: http://nsbikers.ca/forum/index.php/topic,38.0.html

*UPDATE*

will be shooting on Monday (the only day with sun) so I should have something working soon after.

EDIT:  For a day that was suppose to be sunny, it did everything but shine.  We had some snow and rain :(  For anyone wondering, my bike is here in Westville with me, and I need to get it to Merigomish where I will be winterizing it.  My options are drive it or wait for the trailer (which will come start of Decemember)  So there is my delema with all this.
