Valley Rides
« on: July 05, 2008, 10:30:06 PM »
Went with a bunch of Michelin employees today.  Coldbrook on 101 to Windsor;  14 to Chester  **, 3 to Mahone Bay*; on to near Lunenburg*.  From there a loop through Rose Bay and Riverport (east side of LaHave river) into Bridgewater***.  From there onto west side of LaHave river (I think it was #3 again) past Risser's beach near Port Medway**.  Short jaunt onto Liverpool via 103,  Return to Valley on a road I didn't know existed;  goes through Cornwall from Blockhouse exit*.  At the end  (east Dalhousie) you can go through New Russell to New Ross and on to #12;  we went through to Aylesford Road to #1 (rough, very rough!) no stars!

The Riverport loop is amazing at speeds of 40-100 for any bike, and nearly flat, too!  One 883 Harley mentioned  one peg scrape, but had scrape bolts on.
Just so you know, we're not very far (about 1.3 hr) from the South shore;  we use it to escape Valley Heat!

lol, I thinks it be a different location ;)  Sounds like a great run thought.  If I ever get my bike back I may have to take a tour out that way myself :)
